9/9 Kyle Shook was put on the sidelines for 2 weeks after an unintentional spiking during the Fork Union Invitational. He still managed to finish the race in just over 19 minutes.

9/15 The York High Cross Country team has decided to attend the 1st annual Titan Cross Country Classic at Lake Taylor High School in Norfolk Virgnia on Saturday September 23.

9/16 Both the girls and guys team took home the silver division crown at the CNU classic. The guys team took 1st without their 4th runner Kyle Shook. The girls put their top 6 in the top 41 out of 300+ finishers.

9/20 Both the girls and boys team won their first dual meets today. Even though both teams were slowed down by the heat, they still managed to fight to the end and take down jamestown and tabb. jamestown's boys team ran without their top 4 as they prepared for great american this saturday.

9/23 The girls team wins the first annual titan cross country classic while the boys only managed a 3rd place showing. Allen Carr and Trent Williams both put in strong performances on the boys side

9/27 The girls team won against grafton and tabb thanks to chris lee's first sub 21 minute performance as well julianne terry's first sub 22. On the boys side, the top 3 put in strong races as the team struggled to a last place finish as they are slowly rebounding from early season injuries.

10/7 Both teams ran just under average races today at the William and Mary Invitational. The girls placed 4th in the C division, with an exceptional performance coming from Julianne Terry as she finished in a time of 20:22. The boys finished 5th in the same division as Allen ran close to the times in the fast race of the day, and Trent ran a pr even though his training has been not where he would like it to be b/c of a minor injury.

10/11 The girls perfect score both southampton and poquoson. The guys ran well also winning their first dual mets since september 20th.

10/27 In district action both the girls and guys squads placed 4th and advanced to regionals. All district runners for york include: Allen Carr, Trent Williams, Julianne Terry, and Sarah Deibler.

11/2 At the Region I meet the guys team stepped it up when they needed to the most putting the top 6 under 18 and placing 3rd. The girls on the other hand stepped it up as well but it wasn't enough to qualify them for the state meet on the 11th. All Region Runners from York include Julianne Terry and Allen Carr.

11/8 York High Senior Allen Carr signs with Divsion I James Madison Univeristy.

11/11 The State meet was not so good for York, as the guys placed 11th and the only individual girl placed 61st. Allen Carr ran a conservative 2nd mile to finish strong and take home a 4th place medal. The team tied with the 10th place team but lost on the 6th man tiebreaker because the team only had 5 runners running.
